Last Sunday Sam Leake & Oli Willson played in the County 2nd team against Northants at Cold Ashby GC. This was Sam’s debut as a County player and while he & Oli lost in their morning foursomes they both won their afternoon singles matches although they couldn’t prevent Northants from recording a narrow 6.5 to 5.5 victory.
A great achievement for Sam to win his first County singles match.
Many congratulations to Sam who also sacrificed his chance of winning the RPGC under 35 Club Championship to represent our County.
