Congratulations to Sally-Ann Longden, who has won through to the final of the “Race to Woodhall Spa” competition.
Yesterday’s event was played at Wollaton Park Golf Club and was one of 10 regional competitions where the top 5 in each, move through to the finals out of 50 qualifiers. Sally and Andrew Jones were the RPGC representatives in the Men’s and Ladies events.
In very breezy conditions, Andrew’s 31 points failed to finish in the top 5 of the Men’s section but Sally’s 35 points and 3rd place ensured a visit to Woodhall Spa on August the 11th.
Well done to both for representing the club so well.
