We have cleaned and cleared around the pond on the 18th hole to open the area up and make it a feature rather than just an overgrown pit full of water. The removal of self setting trees will encourage more airflow through the area and visually improve the hole. We will also be doing some drainage work around the 1st hole and practice ground next winter and the drainage will connect to the pond and brook. We plan to continue clearing areas around the course and this will form part of next winter’s program.
