Today’s team of Ronnie Porte, Liz Kitchen, Bea Cotton, Sam Furlong, Tina Collins, Caroline Simpson and Mandy Horsley, with first reserve Jenny Piecha and Lady Captain Tuula Hastings, prior to the away leg against Leicestershire in Round 1 of the Taskers Trophy Inter-Club competition.
Rothley made a fantastic start to this singles matchplay knock out competition by finishing 4/3 up against Leicestershire in an extremely hard fought game in terrible conditions against a Leicestershire team who received a total of 67 shots from Rothley! The game was played by all in very friendly spirits and we are looking forward to the home leg of the first round which is being played at Rothley on Sunday 23rd April, first tee at 11.30am. Supporters welcome.
The scores from both games will be aggregated and the winners will go through to the second round.
