I was delighted to eventually present the CH Allen trophy to last years winner, Jordan Henfrey who was unable to attend the presentation evening in November as he was in hospital being treated for a serious illness. Following Jordan’s diagnosis and treatment last year he played in the C H Allen competition whilst still fitted with a PICC line and scored an incredible 44 points and won the competition by three clear points. Following his victory he required further hospital treatment and isolation which meant he could not attend the presentation evening. Jordan is now well on the way to recovery and is delighted to be back playing golf at Rothley Park.’
