After the Rothley H4Hs team won the northern league for the first time, the team went head-to-head with an unbeaten Lutterworth Golf club in the first “Leicestershire Grand Final” on a bleak Sunday afternoon.
The team played exceptionally well and the match ended in a convincing win 5 – 1
My thanks go to all of this years squad, the effort and commitment they have shown has shown in the results. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the Grand final but James Fawcett willingly stood in and lead the team on the day.
I plan to organise a few drinks one night in the clubhouse to celebrate with the entire squad and supporting members, where our trophies can be out on display and squad photos can be taken, I look forward to as many attending as possible (details will follow).
