After a beautiful day of sunshine the weather decided to change for the game at Longcliffe last night, the drizzle turned into full blow rain and it became rather chilly, however the team played well with some new faces to the squad with some much appreciated support from a number of Rothley Park members.
The match resulted in a draw with a point for RPGC and two going to LGC, notable wins for Alex and Jim, Nathan and Lee and the bankers at the tail end Tim and Andy. The captain won the wet T shirt award (a horrible thought I know!)

There can now only be 2 winners should RPGC win at Kirby or get a winning draw we have won the league, a loss means Longcliffe would need to win or a winning draw at Birstall to beat us on legs, Destiny is in our hands !
I’ll be looking at the team for the next match on the 9th August, It would be great to get some support for what will be a great climax to the league.
