Greens’ week is underway with solid tinning to a depth of between 4 and 7 inches on most greens and all green surrounds. The 7th, 15th and 17th greens will be hollow cored because of the instances of anaerobic black layer present in these greens.
As we near the end of the season deep hollow coring work has started on a couple of selected greens in line with STRI advice. Now that the weather is changing we will be solid tinning greens aprons and surrounds from Tuesday the 1st of September.
